Pressure Washing – Frequently Asked Questions:
Are all power washing companies the same?
Anyone can purchase a pressure washer. Simply owning a pressure washer and advertising you offer a service doesn’t mean you can operate it effectively. A pressure washer in the hands of an unskilled operator can cause a great deal of damage. Just to name a few, wood carved into at too high of a pressure, plants and lawn killed, siding blown off, paint peeled from house and even concrete cut and etched. We have no unskilled operators. We treat your property like it was our own and if we do not do more for you than what we contracted to do….you would be the 1st! We take great pride in what we do because no paycheck is as satisfying to us as the customer’s excitement at their 1st site of what we do to transform their problem into a show piece.
Who will actually perform the work?
We know this is a big concern when people ask us “how many people are on your crew”? Followed with “how many employees do you have”? Let me put your concerns to rest this way….one or both of this companies owners will be on your job from start to finish to ensure the highest standards are maintained!!
Do I need to be home when you’re working on my property?
No, because we understand that you are just as busy as we are. We do ask that you close all of your windows, clear your driveway or deck and put away fragile decorations on your home or deck.
Do you offer any type of warranty on your wood services?
Yes we most certainly do. We guarantee our workmanship for a period of 18 months against peeling, flaking, or chipping in the finish. We can offer this because we use contractor grade materials that we know how to install. We often say that we can tell someone exactly how we di it but few can get it done well because it takes that “trained, experienced eye!”
Does DECKaidPro LLC have insurance?
DECKaidPro, LLC carries a 1 million dollar insurance policy. We can provide this upon request.
Is there a difference between pressure washing and power washing?
Yes. Pressure washing is just that…the brute force of high presure water trying to clean. When cleaning wood, power washing uses equal parts knowlege and chemistry to gently loosen the dirt, grime, sealers and stain and a very low pressure stream of water to gently rinse it clean. When power washing roofs and siding, disinfectants are used to kill the mold, mildew, & algae growing. Only then is a low pressure stream of water used to wash it away. This is commonly called “SOFTWASHING”.
My contractor said my siding and deck are zero maintenance is this true?
Low maintenance yes, zero maintenance no. Anything left outside in the sun and humidity will get dirty. Your car gets dirty sitting in your driveway, so does your house and deck.
